Hola Familia,
I received the package you sent, and thank you for all the stuff. The pan that you sent was all bent up and at our house we have one like it only it is deeper and made of thicker material. I was able to find peanut butter at price smart for a good price and it lasts until we have another santiago p-day when we can go back and get more, but it will be good to eat this peanut butter. I really liked all of the stuff you sent and the letters that you wrote, I will try to respond to all of them in the coming weeks. Some stuff that would be nice if you could send with Braden are, home made cookies, chocolate, cheese-its, more music (with a variety insturments, the cd that you sent me was good but quiet I would like the david lanz orchestra version and maybe some other of Dad´s good insturmental stuff and then some of stuff with voice and isn´t morman tabernacle), munchies, and maybe some sunflower seeds, and what ever else you want to send. the lehi roller thing seems like a good idea I haven´t made it yet.
The meeting with Elder Bednar was just awesome! I was on the third row from the front so I had a really good view. When he came in the first thing I thought was wow he is so white, but that is just how people look like at home, is was just crazy to see the difference. the meeting was so intense. He didn´t waste a single word. He didn´t just get up there and speak to us it was more of a discussion about what we had learned from the talks that he wanted us to read and how we are applying what we have learned into our daily lives and how it has impacted our lives so that we change. After that we were able to ask him questions about things that we wanted to know. Also there was a member of the seventy that was with him. There were some alright questions. I couldn´t think of any questions that I wanted to ask. It is hard to discribe. He talked about so many different things, I can´t even begin to discribe it. I´ll just have to tell you in person when I get home, it was an amazing experience!
Jesus got baptised on saturday which was a great experience! It was interesting how he ended up being baptised, we asked one of the members here that is really strong to help. They did it in what I thought was an awkward way, and they had to do it twice. I was able to sit by him on Sunday when he received the Holy Ghost and he was really happy. It was a great experience! The work he is going fine. We have been trying to find more investigators because our area was split we lost half of our investigators, so we are trying to find more good investigators so we are contacting a bunch. There was this guy that was just enormous, huge arms and as we passed he was talking bad about us to his gang that was around him so then we went and contacted them, and that guy was embarraced it was pretty funny.
We have been really cleaning our house, because president is coming to check our houses this week and according to my companion this is the first time out of his entire mission that this has happened, and the zone leaders said that which ever house is the cleanest will get a microwave, but we are going to have to wait and see if that is true or just a joke to try to get us to clean our houses more. I hope that we get a microwave that would be nice.
I love you all! I hope that you have a great week!

Hola FamiliaThis week has been great! Jesus is finally getting baptised! He finished the Book of Mormon on monday and now we are going to go over there today and teach him more. His baptism is this Saturday so that is way exciting. On sunday he told his conversion story in church which was really cool to here. Aparently one of the misisonaries that are in the other part of Cien Fuegos contacted him when he was here before and he rejected them, but after talking about it with a member he wanted us to come back, and that just happened to be us and we had the opportunity to teach him.Something really funny that happened this week is when it was raining pretty good we went to teach a boy that lives at the bottom of these stairs that are basically cut into the dirtl, but when it is raining it is just clay muck. I started down the couple of stairs first and on the first stair I slipped and I didn´t fall, but I couldn´t slow down with each stair I was getting faster and faster. When I got to the bottom my feet where just slipping every step until I went down. I caught myself with my hand just before I hit the muck. My companion thought that that would be the end of those clothes, but I saved myself and didn´t even get any on my backpack or the straps to the backpack because of my long arms. It was pretty cool. Another thing that happened is after a really long day we were at a Colmado getting food and I was getting the food we needed two eggs (huevos) and I asked the guy for two Jueves (thursdays) my companion thought that was pretty funny and in a lesson a while ago I wanted to say that God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow (Dios es el mismo ayer hoy y mañana) but I said Dios es el mismo ayer hoy y en la mañana (God is the same yesterday today and in the morning). Those were pretty funny! This Transfer is awesome my zone is great my district is great and Bednar in coming! It was sad to see some of our investigators go to the other missionaries but they are still doing great and all is well. We are having an activity in the church tomorrow and we are going to watch the Joseph Smith movie, the same one that they show in the Joseph Smith building, that is going to be so awesome. I´m glad that I was able to go and watch that with Tyler when we went up to Salt Lake together. That was an awesome time! Hopefully a lot of our investigators show up to the activity. Everyday I see more and more of the hand of the Lord in this work helping us bear testimony, understand the language, having people feel the spirit, and just the protection that we have everyday is so great. We have been challenged to read the entire Book of Mormon in the next two transfers in spanish. Which is going to be difficult because I read slow in spanish and we have a lot of other stuff that we have to read and do in the time that we have. With my companion being district leader we also have a lot of meetings that we go to,. but it is going to be a great challenge!Well that is all the time that I have to write once agian Congratulations Rachael on your medallion, Tyler I hope that you are working toward getting your Silver, Joshua work hard in scouts, Allison learn all you can from dance. I love you all and hope that you have a great week!

Hola Familia
This transfer is looking like it is going to be a blast! but to answer the questions, the dot on my foot was a burn from cooking with oil and it spalshed onto my foot. Here are some things that I need I need a new umbrella mine broke, so just send a small one with braden when he comes. and I also need some white bottons for my shirts I have lost a couple of buttons so I thought it would be good to have some extras when I really need them.
I wanted to wish Amanda a very happy Birthday and I hope that she had a great time with Taylor that day.
So some crazy stuff that has happened this week. When I was cooking I was putting some platanos in some oil to cook them and some of the oil splashed over the edge into the flame and it burst into flames that reached up to the ceiling, it only lasted a second so it was really cool, but it could have been really bad. We got two new elders in our area and they seem like really cool guys. One of them is my companions old companion so he is really happy and he is a really funny guy. It is kind of sad because we had some really good investigators in that area and they are taking them now, but was long as they continue to progress then it will be ok.
Jesus told us that he has a testimony and we share the talk from boyd k packer in may 2005 ensign with him. He has a baptism date that hopefully he will be baptised that day. The baptism is going to be interesting because he can´t walk, but we´ll get it done. Sagrario is showing real progress. We talked about baptism last night and she said that she wanted to be more sure before she says yes to something like that, but she is feeling the spirit and going to church so she is doing great! WE went to see a recent convert and we knew that he was home and he wouldn´t open the door, which was really weird for him so we called his phone is rang and we heard it inside that then it was quiet and he turned his phone off, we waited and talked to the door, but he wouldn´t answer we are pretty worried about him we were there for 30 min trying to get him to open the door. We just hope that nothing bad has happened.
The house that we were going to move in fell through so now we are searching again to find a good house that we can move into. But it is going to be crazy the next couple of days because we have to show the new elders their area so we are going to be going on a lot of exchanges. Well I don´t have a ton of time but everything is going great here looking forward to this transfer it is going to be great, our zone got a bunch more awesome elders so it is going to be a blast! I´ll let you know how everything goes. I love you all and hope that you are having a great time. sorry it isn´t really long I was busy during email time. Enjoy this next week. I love you all!
Tell Scott and Cameron congratulations for me.
